We are open as of May long weekend with the Greenhouse Direct garden center, Fresh Alberta & B.C. produce, local arts, crafts, collectibles & antiques!!
Also the real vintage carousel is up & running!! (a restored 1950s merry go round) Free for all kids to ride, any donations goes to the Calgary Children's Hospital!! Plus local buskers!! The Blackfoot is very family oriented (playground, picnic tables, merry-go-round, etc...) with local, eco-friendly, and mostly organic produce and products. Let's support small entrepreneurs and their wide variety of cultural differences and backgrounds! To achieve everybody's goal we will strive to be as helpful and committed as possible. As well, we want to have very affordable and attainable vendor rates. We offer vendors large 12' x 35' stalls with 4' x 8' covered tables that they can personalize and park in for only $25 per weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.) - $25.00 per stall (12' w x 35' l) per weekend. - Stall rentals avail. for both casual & permanent set up. - Water, sewer and electricity available on site. Vendors: We are currently looking for vendors specializing in B.C. fruit, AB vegetables, authentic foods, flowers, and arts & crafts. First come, first serve basis. Shoppers: Enjoy free parking, 5 acres of beautiful landscaped walkways, picnic tables and eclectic array of merchandise in a European inspired atmosphere. Located minutes from downtown Calgary, and close to Deerfoot Meadows 5600 - 11 Street S.E. (Turn off Blackfoot Tr. onto 58th Avenue heading east, then north onto 11th Street.)
